Conversion Rates Among the Largest Search Engines
WebSideStory Inc, a web analytics company, recently released the median order conversion rates for B2C ecommerce web sites based on aggregated information from millions of users of sites that use WebSideStory to measure and track their Web analytics.
The results are the median conversion rates for both organic and paid search listings. These percentages do not factor in ROI, only conversion rate for a paid sale. The total paid sales accounted for in these numbers was $3 billion annually.
